This is a wax application pad that is ergonomically designed to be comfortable wax application.

85mm diameter | 40mm thick

Instructions:

1. Un-package the Waxmate ready for use.
2. Select the desired wax.
3. Softly apply the Waxmate onto the wax and twist.
4. Using straight lines, apply the wax to the paint and allow to cure

Application:

The pad is a high-density soft pad that fits exactly into the tin of wax. In this case, I was using Auto Finesse Illusion wax. The pad is super soft and very easy to hold to start with.

Place the pad into the tin and twist to apply the wax to the pad.

Applying the pad to the paintwork is easy enough to start with and prevents an overpressure of application.

Here is the comparison of the Auto Finesse Puck which in my mind is a much better product.

Results:

A couple of comments above where I state, ‘to start with’. What I mean is after you have done half the car the pad itself becomes clogged and collapses down. You find holding it then becomes difficult and more of a pain then a help. I found that the wax then transferred to your hand. On the other hand, the puck held its shape much better. Perhaps it’s my big hands, but I don’t think it is. I have stopped using it. The cleaning is a real pain as well.
