Application:

Spray on and wipe off. This product is such a simple to apply and remove. As I expect from Chemical Guys, their spray top works without fail and produced a fine mist that was absorbed quickly by the fabric.

Smell – If you can imagine the old school window cleaners with the perfumes this is what it smells like. Not over powering at all on the senses at all.

De-Odorise – Well it doesn’t leave a fresh cleaned linen sheet smell if that’s what they mean, it left no smell. Not that the blood was smelling at all in the first place nor was the seat in general.

I had a cream office chair that had some blood on the corner of it and sort of gives me the hump when I see it, which is everyday when I work from home or write for my blog.

Blood is notorious for stains and can be a real pain to get out, let alone something that had been on hear for a week or so and on cream at best.

I also tried this on my water jet bottle or the colostomy bag as it’s often referred to. The reverse of the bag is a white canvas which was brown with dirt. I forgot to take a picture of the bag before i started to clean it but you can see it on a side of the bag at the top of the picture. I sprayed this on neat without any dilution.

With the brush I agitated the product all over the bag to work into the grime.

Removing:

I sprayed on the product undiluted and left it for about ten seconds. With a clean microfibre cloth I dabbed onto the spot to remove the excess and this was left.

Second application of a neat solution and left for another ten seconds before wiping it off to the following result:

Gone. If you study the picture hard you can see the outline of the spray where it had wet the fabric. I was thinking it was going to stain with the spray. A few hours later it had all evaporated and was clean. No need to vacuum before or after in this case.

The bag cleaned up clean with no more black mould on the back. The picture here shows the bag before it was rinsed down to a clean white fabric.

Results:

Pretty impressive for blood on a cream cloth or black mould on white canvas. It was fast like they said and it did the job. I can honestly say if i had of diluted the product 10:1 it would have still worked. The water washer bag came up like new as a well.

Rating:  10 out 10

Another top score for the chemical guys. Yes it pains me to give a top score, but it did the job exactly as they said. So I can’t complain at all.

I would make sure that over a large area you would treat the whole area rather than just the stained spot. Cleaning the whole area would freshen up and not leave a clean patch in a dirty area.

Conclusion:

OK, it says on the bottle that this can be diluted up to 20:1 and that it’s super concentrated. The vacuum before (I suspect) is for the carpets where bits have been stuck and has stained heavily. If you are going to do a large area like a foot-well carpet I would dilute a little and do the whole carpet. I think that the product will leave a clean stain in the middle of dirty carpet if you treated just the small area. The dilution would allow a more gentle overall clean to start with to get most of the grime off, then progress more concentrated straight from the bottle for the more stubborn stains if required.

This product is now used in the home for removing stains in the carpet after the dogs muddy paws and the odd little accident.

The chemical is not harsh on the hands and not vicious smelling like some cleaners.
