I am often asked how to use the Drum Brake Spring Pliers. There isn’t much out the to show you how it’s done, so I have found this little step by step and hope it helps out a little.
I had a set of Sealey Brake Pliers and they were so soft after a couple of uses removing the springs the lip to lift the spring in “fig 1” broke of. I now have a snap on set of brake tools and they work every time no problems. Please buy good quality pliers or you will keep buying them until you do.
