What You Get:

A bottle without a spray attachment. For an interior clean you need to have a fine mist, not wanting to have a jet of product going everywhere but where you want it, possibly leaving marks on glass or flat surfaces.
Product Description:
Basically this is an all in one cleaner for the interior with some added ‘ceramic’ which is a buzz word in detailing at the moment. The product is aimed at “dashboards, consoles, vinyl, plastics, and trim” it doesn’t mention rubber of soft furnishing or leather.
The product is labelled as “Raw Power” and “High Tech” with “built-in UV blockers, it helps defend against sun damage, reducing the risk of fading, cracking, and discolouration over time”. For me any UV protection especially on a dash is welcome.
The claim is “removes everyday dirt, smudges, and light stains while infusing surfaces with a smooth, durable ceramic shield”. Finger prints inside a car can look ugly, especially on one of the most used part of the car, the infotainment screen or the car’s manual drive mode buttons.
Instructions:

- Lightly dust surfaces
- Spray Ceramic Interior Detailer onto a microfibre
- Treat desired area
- Buff with a clean dry microfibre
I’m not quite sure what “Treat desired areas” actually means. But I suspect it means wipe over and remove any marks.
Testing Environment:
A sunny day that had warmed the interior of the car, but nothing ‘hot’ to the touch.
Interior of my Honda CR-V has an infotainment screen that just gets finger prints all over it, as well as the drive mode and handbrake buttons etc. In my case taking two little dogs out in the car means I get the added bonus of paw prints on the door trims, front of the dash and wet nose marks on centre console etc. You can just about see the marks on the leading edge here.

Application:
I was a little anxious about trying this product as it says “boosts gloss and depth”, I didn’t want gloss and was prepared to remove this if this was the case after application.
After dusting the area before applying the product only took a couple of minutes preparation.
Application of the product was an indirect method as you mist onto a quality (non lint) microfibre cloth and wipe over the area to clean it. You need to apply enough to work, but not to much to soak the area. There is a slight smell to the product, but it’s not overpowering. In this instance I would have liked a pleasant interior smell like citrus, berry or something similar just to freshen things up a bit, but it’s not a deal breaker by any means.
After applying to the cloth wipe over the area which left evidence of where I had been.

I changed to another clean and dry cloth to buff over the freshly applied dash. This did the trick to erase the marks and allowed the surface to evaporate and dry pretty quickly.

Removing:
After buffing the product as I mentioned a little earlier the product sales pitch says “ceramic-enhanced layer not only boosts gloss and depth but also creates a protective barrier that repels dust, fingerprints, and grime”.
There was no gloss.
In my opinion, having anything glossy in the car right in front of you that could reflect sun, headlights or street lights could dazzle the driver and is a bad thing.
Removal was simple as just wiping off with a light buff. No sticky residue or drag on the cloths. The worst and dirtiest area (to my standards) was the main car drive buttons, temp controls with finger prints. After the removing or buffing there was greasy film left just a nice slick coating.
I forgot to take a before photo but there was finger marks and a paw print! The infotainment cleaned up very well with no finger prints left behind, but in my eagerness I forgot to take before and after photos.

Some of the grubbiest areas just needed a second wipe over, but nothing like a major to scrub. The interior of the cup holders where the bottled water sometimes stands had a ring mark at the bottom, but that was soon removed.
I wiped over the door sills and they cleaned up very well. However, a muddy shoe on the passenger side left a muddy scuff, but that soon wiped away quite easily with a damp cloth. A protective barrier doing it’s job in that case.
Results:
Very good for what I got, but not what was actually promised from the product’s sales pitch.
Like a couple of other Shelby products (that I have also reviewed) made a claim(s) that wasn’t lived up to, “gloss and depth” in this case. For me the matt sheen was very OEM and what would actually want.

Here is the before and after of the main dash area, can you see a difference? Before on the left, after treatment on the right.

After a few weeks the dash is still mark free and the fingerprints, on the infotainment has a noticeable improvement with only minor finger print or so appearing, the main drive buttons are still looking good and clean. This product has definitely made an improvement to reducing further finger marks and the odd dog paw on the surfaces.
For me, the matt look is a win, if you want a full on gloss then this product is a fail.
However, the few small areas like the button centres and the odd polished plastic didn’t look any different gloss wise. After application on the already polished parts there was no streaks and these polished parts buffed up fine and easily.
Rating: 8 out of 10
The rating has to be reduced as the product claims to boost gloss, but on what surfaces? The claim needs to be a bit more specific to test the claims fully. BUT, the product did clean and has protected from any more major marks re-appearing so far.
The ease of use to clean gets a full mark, as it was simple to wipe over and a quick buff.
Finish was debatable. Perhaps if you have glossy source like polished wood, or polish carbon fibre then this may well give you that gloss. But, on the majority of my car’s surfaces and finishes there was no noticeable gloss boost.
Ease of use – 10 out of 10
Finish – 8 out of 10
Conclusion:
This product price point is on the upper end of the market competing with the big brands. However I didn’t use much to get the cleaned results and so it becomes quite economical to use.
So the question is: what do you want, Gloss or a matt OEM finish?
For me personally this product was a winner and I will use it again because it gives me a result I like. I didn’t get was promised in the sales pitch.
If this product had of given me a gloss finish, then it would have been great product and done it’s job well with the claims it has made. But, then I would have made more work for myself to remove it to take my interior back to matt and non glossy.
I’m not sure what this product is aimed at, is it trying to gloss everything up, or just the odd bit here or there. For me that’s the main confusion with this product. I just don’t know what it’s trying to do with the overall finish in the car. Then on the other hand it does an admirable job for the cleaning tasks.
Would I recommend it? Yes for OEM finish. NO – for a full on gloss fix.
Would I buy it again? Yes as I like the OEM look in my car after application.
