Enfield Pageant in Great Britain

My fellow blogger and good friend Debbie Nuessle has done me a big favour by posting about Enfield Pageant. Thanks very much Debbie.
Oh, I apologise for all the tweets this morning if they woke you up. I was excited to see the cars, I was let out on my own and was given some pocket money to spend too, lol. I forget the time zone thing across the pond sometimes is that big.
Check out Debbie’s great blog and some of the pictures she has from shows around her way.
Thanks again Debbie.

This morning I received multiple tweets from fellow Mustang enthusiast Mart Dawson…announcing his arrival and findings at the 2013 Enfield Pageant, a car show about 12 miles outside of London.  It looked like an awesome day.  Having to go to school (and not being able to travel 4203 miles on such short notice) made me quite jealous.  So I did a google search and came up with the following video.

Here is the video from the 2011 Pageant.

You may also want to quickly view some great pics at Mart’s twitter account.

Wiki defines the word Pageant as “a rich and spectacular ceremony.”  We petrol heads do seem to think of it that way.

About One man and his Mustang

I'm just a man with a Classic 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe and a collection of tools that just keeps getting bigger in order that I could do the job right. When I first started this blog this is what I wrote: I had bought a project car, that had been neglected, set fire to, rusted and abused. As a result of that she needed a bare metal strip down, a nut and bolt restoration. Four and a half years later the car was completed, on the road and shown at the UK's premier Classic Car Show, everything that was done to that car is documented here. I now have the privilege to drive one of America's most recognised cars and a true Icon, the Ford Mustang. I'm still sane after the blood, sweat and tears, so would I do it again? Oh yes!

No better way to wake up than to a reminder that there are classic cars being appreciated across the pond!
