The Meguiar’s DFC5 & DMC6 Soft Buff Foam Cutting Pads are designed to be used on a dual action polisher. Their low profile means that you get less pad roll and less chance of damaging the pad.
Burgundy
The Meguiar’s Soft Buff Cutting Disc uses an improved foam technology that will cut through heavy to moderate surface defects leaving no swirls. This is the most aggressive of the Meguiar’s pads and utilises a open cell pad structure to give more mechanical cut whilst keeping the pad cooler. The Meguiar’s Soft Buff Foam Cutting Pads can be used on any 5” or 6″ backing plate.
Yellow
The Meguiar’s Soft Buff Polishing Pad uses an improved foam technology that will cut through light swirls and remove holograms, whilst restoring gloss. Their low profile means that you get less pad roll and less chance of damaging the pad. The Meguiar’s Soft Buff Foam Polishing Pads can be used on any 5” or 6″ backing plate.
Black
The Meguiar’s DFF5 & DFF6 Foam Finishing Pads are designed for use with Dual Action Polishers and will rid of very minor surface defects and restore a high gloss, swirl free finish. This Finishing pad is soft enough to use also as a wax or sealant application. Meguiar’s have created the Soft Buff Foam Finishing Pad with a low profile which works a lot better on a DA with less chance of pad damage and less pad roll.
